AZBEX: London Gold to Reach New Heights
We are very excited to announce our renovation of our Scottsdale showroom! We love our custumers, and know that we are the best, because they are the best! We plan to start renovating in early summer, and will still be open to help you with all of your jewelry needs.

London Gold plans to renovate and expand its Scottsdale location with a project, which – if approved – will transform the iconic Shea Boulevard shopping district.
The plaza at the SEC of the intersection has seen a lot changes over past decades. Its recent renewal has been slow in coming.
London Gold currently occupies 4,831 in a single story building at the northwestern-most corner of the plaza. The project will nearly double that with the addition of a second story (1,815SF of office space) and a 2,100SF ground floor expansion for a completed total of 8,746SF.
In addition to new office space, the expansion will include a conference room and a jeweler’s work are, with polishing and casting rooms.
With a zero-foot setback from the intersection, the added second floor will likely make a significant impact on the area’s aesthetic. The height of the existing building will raise from 21’-9” to 27’ with a corner tower element, which will reach to 31’ of a maximum allowable is 36’.
The tower will add curb appeal and “act as a sculptural art piece” with a chandelier proposed to fill the tower, according to the designer’s submittal.
Materials employed will create a look consistent with existing developments in the area. These include light colored stucco, split-face travertine stone veneer, glazing with bronze mullions and steel window surrounds.
No groundbreaking has been set, though the owner plans to complete the renovation by the end of this summer.
